Flight and First Week In Washington

We made it to Washington! I flew with the kids on a nonstop flight from Atlanta and it was so much nicer than driving for a week.
Sienna and Hadley braved the rain to make it to church.

It’s been wonderful spending time with family!

My mom made me an amazing better than anything 4 layer cake for my birthday celebration. It was a yummy surprise and so fun to spend a "birthday" with my family.

The girl cousins in town (minus Cambri who was sick) had matching twirly braids for church. I love that my girls have cousins to play with and match with.

Sienna has been in heaven having people to play with and bake with. She's soaking up all the extra attention since her siblings are more distracted with other kids/the trampoline.

We were able to go down to Willow and enjoy the lake with Jen, Beckie, Sara and Rissa's family. Down there, my purse fell over, dumping out some coins, and I put it away not realizing I had lost some coins. Later, Hudson and Kassidy found coins and were so excited.

We were able to come to Manson early and enjoy the Manson Apple Blossom Parade. This is the last year for awhile that we will be able to make it since we are putting the kids in public school and wanted to take advantage of it. Well Hudson was sick the Wednesday night before and then Kassidy on Friday night. She woke up singing and trying to prove to me that she felt wonderful and I didn't have the heart to tell her no when we came across the country weeks early for her to go to the parade. Everyone except for my dad got sick the next week, so there was a lot of apologizing on my part.
Baby Luca has been a main character for Sienna this summer. She talks about him all the time and loves watching over him.
I was so proud of how well H,K, +S did on the plane. Kassidy sat across the aisle from me, and that was the part that made me the most nervous since she is so shy. Turns out she sat next to a dad and a 10 year old boy so she wasn't as intimidated.

This was the progress with Puppy Leo before Poppy and Violet scared Sienna to death. We went back to square one but seem to be improving a little now. I'm in the process of convincing her to feed Puppy Leo a treat.
Spending all the extra time with my nephews and niece has been a highlight for me. I know they'll forget me by next summer but it's so fun to build relationships with them while I'm here.

Sienna and I have started the routine of having hot chocolate in the mornings. We both look forward to it and my hot chocolate is definitely caffeinated.
Costco muffins!
My dad builds a fire almost every night and it is fun to enjoy that with this view and the company.

There's been a lot of playdough time and dancing in the kitchen.
