HUD and hotels

So on Friday we picked up Mama Rae from Spokane after her trip. Since she was getting in so early, we drove over on Thursday night and stayed in a hotel near the airport. Before we left Hudson had to fuel up for the ride.

After Momma got him cleaned up some, she put him in his brand new carseat.

HUD has gotten too big for his original carseat but can't face forward yet as he's not a year old. So far he loves this one, probably because he has room to move around.

His old one gave him plenty of chances to practice his yoga poses though. This one is called "Backward Facing Crab Summons Mother"

It was night time for the ride over, so HUD slept almost the whole way. This is a dramatic reenactment of the scene with Daddy in a supporting role.

Once we arrived and checked in, Hudson decided to wake up.
Something about being in a hotel room causes Hudson to lose his mind. For about 2 hours he was a whirling dervish of pocket energy. Apologies for the blurred pictures, it's hard to take pictures when the subject is vibrating enough to travel between dimensions.

He did stop long enough to pose for his adoring fan base though

Curiosity

I was too lazy to go downstairs to get a diaper. This is what happened for the next hour.

Hudson 10 Months

Pictures are getting harder now that Hudson won't hold still so sorry, but I've already come up with an easier way to do these monthly pictures when we are blessed with another baby.
No new stats this month because we didn't go to the doctor yet, but his shoe size is 5/6 already and he is getting heavy! Our little boy is now a screaming, yelling, one boy destruction crew.  He has picked up the art of scolding people. He will walk into Mama Rae's sewing room, put his hands straight behind him, furrow his brows and then continue to tell her something VERY important though it looks like he is scolding her. He does it to me too but it's more funny when he does it to other people. I'm not sure where he gets it because it's not like Travis or I go around yelling at each other. Maybe he is just very serious when he talks.
And this is his model pose he gets from his Daddy.  He also loves riding on the 4wheeler and motorcycle around the driveway with Travis. Hudson climbs on everything and pulls everything he can reach off the counters and tables. His favorite toys are the off limits xbox controller and my cell phone. He threw his first real tantrum at the store in the check out line because I wouldn't let him play with it. And so it begins.... ha ha ha.

Huddy Buddy likes to squawk while flapping his arms up and down, making him look like a bird. It is hilarious to watch even though it is hard on the ears. It says something when Rock has to cover his ears and yell, "He's hurting my ears!" The louder he gets the happier he is, usually.  He is a very happy boy when he isn't having intense conversations. I'm kinda scared but excited for when he actually learns how to talk just so I can know what is so important.
We love having our Hudson around. He keeps us laughing and on our toes. It melts my heart when I get his kisses and neck squeeze hugs complete with the patting on my back. LOVE our little boy.

Hudson and Friends

Hudson loves to flirt with the ladies, but at the end of the day he knows he needs his buddies.
