Ergadoozy

We took the kids to SAM's and these two couldn't have been happier.

 Serious shopper.

Trying to get some of Daddy's Mac and Cheese.
 Her 1st braids :).
Getting ready to go to Springfield to meet up with Aunt Sarah and party at Ergadoozy!

Hudson said, "Look! The pipes are making the clouds!"

We need some of these hand cranked train cars at home. He was getting a workout!

They fell right to sleep in the car. Magic.

Cahokia Mounds

Sunday afternoon we went to a historical site called Cahokia Mounds to wear the kids out for naptime. They have quite a long and interesting story going back to 700 A.D. Check it out here.

This is called Woodhenge and was used as a solar calendar. Check it out here.
I don't know how many flights of stairs there were to the top, but I was grateful for the daily workouts I've been putting in. It helped. A lot.
The view from the top surprised me. I wasn't expecting to see the St. Louis skyline.
The kids loved the freedom of exploring (within reason) and the warmer day we had to enjoy.
She copied the speedwalking of the older ladies there quite well.
