Our little princess has turned 1 year old! Time has passed so quickly and it constantly amazes me how my sweet, tiny baby is no longer a baby.
Kassidy is 29 inches long and 26 pounds. She wears size 18 months for the most part.
Kassi Lou is my little buddy and loves to cuddle. She gets quite protective of her "maaaa" when anyone else, including Travis and Hudson, try to get close to me she runs over screaming. It's nice to know our little sweetheart is willing to fight for what she wants though.
Despite most of her pictures looking serious, she is quite a happy toddler. She loves to sing and dance, emphasis on the dance.
Kass is starting to eat and drink more but still refuses to wean. I'm not too worried about it. I mean, who would make fun of a pre-schooler still breastfeeding anyway? She still loves orange foods: carrots, Cheetos, sweet potatoes, etc.
Kassidy loves to pester her brother and the more annoyed he gets, the more excited and persistent she becomes. It's fun to watch the two of them together even if it isn't rainbows and unicorns all the time.
Kassi Lass loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and starts dancing and squealing when she sees it on tv. She also loves cuddling with dolls and driving cars. Well rounded little girl.
She likes to point at us when she's talking to us. Wonder where she got that??
Our lovely little lady is such a burst of light. Mostly happy, smiley and having a great time.
It's easy to tell that she has her daddy right where she wants him. Blessed little girl to have a daddy who loves her so much. And a blessed man to have such a tender and happy daughter.
Kassidy, you are my little, huge love. Life has been better because you have joined our family and even when I'm worn out and stressed out, you always make me smile. That is one of your many gifts and I look forward to discovering many more as you get older. We love you to infinity and beyond!
