I married me a Proverbs woman :)

I came across a blog today in which the guy went through Proverbs 31 and wrote about how his wife fits that description. It's a fantastic idea and I'm totally stealing his idea. If anyone cares about me citing my sources let me know.
Who can find a virtuous woman? or how I lucked out and got an awesome woman for a wife:

Proverbs 31 verse 10:
An excellent wife is hard to find! Her inner beauty is worth so much more than money can buy. I gladly will buy her beautiful things but they can only enhance her wondrous beauty.
Proverbs 31 verse 11:
Her husband completely trusts her with all of his things. Lindsea holds keys capable of destroying my life. She does our finances. She bears the bulk of raising and caring for our children. She holds the keys to my heart. She is the glue of our family because rather than abusing the power of the keys, she seeks to empower and uplift. She encourages my points of view and my involvement.
Proverbs 31 verse 12:
She is devoted to her man. She responds to his love. She lives for his happiness.  Lindsea does this not out of a master/slave relationship, but out of the understanding that these are some of the principles an eternal relationship is built on. She knows that my happiness (in the truest sense of the word) is her happiness and vice versa. In all of her dealings with others, she always seeks to speak the best of me.
Proverbs 31 verse 13:
She decorates the house and makes their home a haven. Lindsea knows that my only expectation upon returning home from work is that the place hasn’t burned down, that she hasn’t left me for a Latin lover, and that she and the kids are all still alive and kicking. The important work of raising our children often takes precedence over spilled toys and dirty laundry. Yet she manages to create homey touches and accomplish tasks that make our home a haven, a place of love and peace. She encourages kind words and loving guidance. She seeks out ways to improve our home and our life.
Proverbs 31 verse 14:
She shops wisely. Lindsea seeks deals, discounts and double coupons. She looks not only for ways to increase our food storage but to provide variety and healthy options. She does not rely on the pre-packaged to do the work for her, but finds delight in trying and creating new menus.
Proverbs 31 verse 15:
She rises early in the morning: Neither Lindsea or I are morning people, but work and kids have forced that lifestyle upon us. She never complains about what time she needs to be up, but focuses on what the needs of the household are.
Proverbs 31 verse 16:
Lindsea looks for ways to increase our cash flow, while leveraging her passions, skills and gifts. Her photography hobby blesses the lives of others and provides opportunities for the family coffers. Her interest in Pinterest is not limited to merely browsing, but doing so in order to provide for our family, financially and spiritually.
Proverbs 31 verse 17:
She understands the importance of body health, and is willing to work for the rewards. Pregnancy has been a large obstacle but it has not diminished her desire and willingness to be healthy.
Proverbs 31 verse 18:
She perceiveth her merchandise is good. Lindsea knows she is the full deal, her presence is worthwhile. She is susceptible to the unique darts of Satan common to all women, but she has gained a testimony of her eternal worth, and her divine heritage.
Proverbs 31 verse 19:
She is industrious. She seeks to constantly learn and improve. She take opportunities for instruction and learning as they arrive, and seeks deeper understanding.
Proverbs 31 verse 20:
She makes time for others. She is willing to give of her substance for the benefit of those less fortunate. She understands the need for, and demands of, service.
Proverbs 31 verse 21:
She understands the importance of preparedness. She considers not only the clothing needs of her family, but they’re mental, spiritual and emotional needs. Both in the moment and in the distant future.
Proverbs 31 verse 22:
She selects her clothing carefully, she is the true modest woman. She seeks to dress with grace and style, rather than fads of fashion. She cares for her appearance and that of her family.
Proverbs 31 verse 23:
She has respect for her husband. She sees him worthy of sitting with the leaders and the elders and encourages his efforts. She supports me in my callings.
Proverbs 31 verse 24:
She maketh fine linen and selleth it. Lindsea does not produce an inferior product in order to get gain. She seeks perfection and honest worth in her goods and services.
Proverbs 31 verse 25:
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She always faces her future with hope and joy. She recognizes her fears and moves to minimize and overcome them. She knows that the path is often through the storm, and meets life’s obstacles secure in the knowledge that she is in the hand of the Lord. She knows the rainbow comes after the rain.
Proverbs 31 verse 26:
She studies the word of God, she speaks with wisdom and knowledge. She uses Christ’s life as an example of kindness to others. Yeah, this is my Lindsea.
Proverbs 31 verse 27:
She manages her home and doesn’t sit around all day and watch soap operas. She doesn’t sit around idly and chat on the phone or play games. She certainly spends time on the TV and online, but it’s watching shows that teach, educate and provide fodder for creativity.
Proverbs 31 verse 28:
Her children love and respect her. Her husband sings her praises!

Truthfully, I could do more singing. I'm a blessed man in many ways. I sometimes allow my focus on providing financially for my family to over shadow my responsibility to provide for their spiritual and emotional welfare. As the blogger wrote, the road to our eternity should be paved with the good works and selfless gestures of a loving husband. Not a goat path in which the grand gestures of a distracted husband are markers of how close to the cliffs we came. Clearly, my wife is the better portion of this coupleJ. Regardless of the distractions of life, she should always know that she is wrapped in the love of the one who is proud to distinguish himself as her husbandJ. I’m glad I get this time on earth to work out, with her, our salvation.

  2. I knew she was a jewel...maybe with a rough edge or two but as you two work things together you both will be more polished.
