Days Off

This "weekend" we had to go over to Spokane for Travis' cardiology appointment so we stayed at a hotel in Airway Heights the night before. Our kids have been doing better but it ended up being a very rough night for me and Kassidy. She decided she wasn't going to go to bed until 5a.m. and Trav had to leave to his appointment at 6:45 so..... it made for a very rough day. Hudson on the other hand was wonderful. He watched Frozen with his daddy and then went to sleep. All night.


I love my cuddles from this boy. He was also watching Frozen in this picture. Yes, that is the theme lately. We get a break from High School Musical.



This little missy is adorable even when she is throwing fits. Thankfully she is cranky rarely and happy most of the time. She especially likes headbands for some reason. Maybe I got a girlie girl!


I finally broke down and opened the lego table we got Hudson for Christmas and he has been playing almost non-stop with it. Its fun to see his creative towers and whatever else those things are he creates. He likes to have me sit on the floor so he can sit on my lap. I took this picture and then he took my camera and put it away. Oops.

Hudson was sitting next to me on the couch and he kept saying, "Mom. Mom. Mom. Mama!" When I would look at him this is the face he would make. He didn't want anything else. And then he would look away so I would look away. And the cycle would repeat again, again and again. He thinks he's pretty funny.

He is VERY affectionate with Kassidy. She is blessed to have a brother that is totally smitten by her, at least until she starts wanting to play with his toys and watching her own tv shows.


I'm glad that hotels still have old school phones so my kids can learn what they are and what they are used for.

We went for a walk today and it was so much fun to be outside! I loved it.

I think Kassidy was bored since she fell right to sleep.



I got to lug the 12 pound princess around and earned and extra Weight Watcher activity point. It wasn't quite worth it.



I was taking a picture of Kassidy who is wearing the ballerina outfit my mom got her but Hudson insisted on being in the picture too. I can't handle the cuteness of his posing.







Huddy buddy always has to be close to his sister and showering her with kisses and hugs. We have to keep a close eye but for the most part he is A LOT better at being gentle.
