The past month has been a little crazy with Whit's wedding and receptions so these pictures are a couple weeks late but still in his 9 months!
Hudson is still in the 95th percentile for height. Big boy! He has outgrown his baby car seat since he is now 30 1/4 inches long. Our baby is growing up! They kept commenting on how big his feet are and how he is going to be pretty tall. I take those comments with a grain of salt though because, I mean, look at my family. We aren't giants.
Huddy Buddy is 21 pounds 9 ounces which is still in the 50-60 percentile. I feel him getting heavier and heavier but apparently he is still working on filling out his height.
This little man likes to hear himself talk. He is all the time babbling, yelling and just making noise. He loves drumming and reaching up to play the piano and sing. It is so cute to watch. He definitely holds his own when his cousins come over.
His blue eyes get a lot of attention. They are darker than mine and obviously bluer than Travis' eyes (his are green) so we aren't sure where he got them. Maybe they will lighten up as he gets older, but they are very handsome now.
He has been making silly attack faces lately. He will squint his eyes and smile and tilt his head down. I call it adorable, Rissa calls it creepy. He makes other new faces, mostly all happy and smiley. They all melt my heart and he was keeping Aleasha entertained at family dinner making his various faces for her.
A big thing that has happened this past month is he started taking steps and standing! It is so fun to watch him try to balance his long body. He sways and swings. (Since I should have already posted this he has started walking completely but I can't say that since I can only post what he has done up until 5/2/13)
Our sweet boy is feeding himself now for the most part. Anything he can munch up with his 8 teeth gets thrown on his tray. He especially loves Fruit Loops, introduced to him by his Grandpa Dale of course.
As always, we love our little guy. He gets into everything, keeps us on our toes and as Rock would say, "Makes our hearts jump all over our bodies." We couldn't ask for a happier or cuter boy. At the doctor's yesterday she asked if we still think we have a perfect little boy and of course we both answered "YES!" She let us know that is how it should be. Every little baby should be adored and loved and Hudson is blessed with both! We love you little man!!
Fun kid, now if his parents would just keep up with him..... Every kid should be introduced to Froot Loops by their Gpas.
