So tonight Lindsea beat me and told me I'd better write something on the blog or bad things would happen. I laughed it off, at the time. Later on, after I'd put her to bed, I turned on BBC America...and there was NO TOP GEAR SHOWS ON!!!!
So I turned the channel to the Cartoon Network in hopes that there would be some Family Guy or American Dad on, BUT THERE WASN'T!!!!
At this point, I was starting to get worried, but was trying to shrug it off. I went to the kitchen (which is a few steps from our new loveseat) to get a Mountain Dew from the fridge. I opened the tab and got some sweet nectar on my hand. As I put the can down at the sink to wash my hand.....THE CAN FELL IN THE SINK!!!
Such is my love for my sweet wife that after she clearly (!!!) cursed me, I still am writing a blog.
Much has been happening in the Volle household. We both are working. We both have days off, often together! We've gone to Walmart, often several times a week. And we often buy things! We haven't watched many movies lately, because Hollywood has displeased me with the quality of movies coming out soon. In other news, I bought Halo: Reach! It's a fun game that I have no one to play it with me, so I just play it by myself. Too bad my brother Michael has started college, otherwise I'd play it with him.
Speaking of the bro, he's going to school at BYU-Idaho and the whole family is happy for him. I'm pretty sure he's in a good place. So far he seems to be settling in well. If any body we know is out there and sees him, say howdy for us. You'll probably see him walking around campus. He's the tall, blonde, good looking kid from Illinois. The "s" is silent. I feel I need to say that because all you Idahoan people forget that and I don't want any of you to embarrass yourselves.
Finally, today (9/15/11) was the 8 month anniversary of mine and Lindsea's wedding. I know that this fact has escaped many of you, as we did not have any presents or gift cards in the mail. This is an egregious lack of etiquette. I am sorry. You are now voted off the island.
However, because I love my wife, I'll let it go.......this time!
If it makes you feel any better, we didn't get gifts or cards for our 8-month anniversary either.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are still enjoying those trips to Walmart, 20 years into our Eternity.
The fact you had to say it wasn't proves it wuz. Good to see you are following the rules though.
